                              Empowering women to come and do it...

Issues Concerning Women, Inc. (ICW) was established in 2007 with the vision to assist  women with housing, financial and life skills.  ICW focuses on women reaching their long and short term goals.  ICW provides advocacy and services to infuse and stabilize households and foster a sense of community involvement, self-worth and self-determination among women.  

Our mission is to create economic independence for all women by providing a voice to those that would otherwise not be heard.   Issues Concerning Women was created to empower all women to take charge of their lives and become educated and savvy about all aspects of living.  

Our vision is to empower women through hands-on demonstrations, homeownership, career development & assistance, investing for retirement, exercise and nutrition classes, entrepreneurship and adult literacy programs.

Our Do It Yourself (DIY) classes take in to consideration your busy schedule .  So the classes will be held for 45 minutes and a service or industry professional will give tips and demonstrations on everyday do it yourself projects.  Check the DIY and CADI class schedule for upcoming classes and events.
